Well after months of waiting we are finally now in possession of keys to the new shop and studio space, a very nice surprise last Friday and long overdue!  This is where we’ll be for those customers who are familiar with the area, right next door to the Nautical Bookshop in Warsash.  We visited the shop yesterday and plans are now underway for the refit…..very exciting.   Having been an estate agent the space is pretty soleless but we can hopefully work some magic and make it a little haven of nautical inspiration.  Of course it’s still early days but at least there is light on the horizon.  Once work gets going we’ll be posting regular updates to let you know the progress, at the moment it’s hard to say when we’ll finally be up and running because, as we all know, things have a tendency to go wrong, but we’re hopeful of an early June time frame.  It’s amazing how different it all looks when it’s completely empty and, have to admit that both Kate and I are a little surprised at how ‘compact’ it is, but we’re used to small spaces having worked independently at building the business in our own studios for the last 2 years, things will hopefully get a lot easier.  The only downside is the bakers right opposite, we may have to black out the windows to avoid temptation!   Watch this space for updates……
